Öhlins uses metric threads throughout, but the length and head form are specific to the position. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need. Stainless where corrosion matters, hardened where load matters — the choice is made per position.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 05009-20. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Pins and dowels locate parts to each other; without them the assembly is merely clamped, not positioned. Öhlins gives every washer and spacer its own part number because its length or thickness is part of the internal geometry.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05009-20

Category: Circlips

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05009-20_2e763066-6584-4781-be8d-95fb21bb14bd.png?v=1788873734
