A plug that seals a gas port is a pressure part despite its size.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 05057-04

Original Öhlins service part

Where It Sits

There is no measurement to check here — the number and the exploded view identify it. These are the parts that are easy to lose on the bench and impossible to improvise afterwards. A spacer that is a millimetre short changes the preload on a shim stack, and with it the damping. Fasteners in a damper see pressure, heat and vibration at once, which is why the grade matters.

Original Öhlins Part

The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

Getting the Number Right

Part number 05057-04 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Small parts are what hold a rebuild together — the wrong circlip or washer is enough to fail the job. Öhlins fits them where a threaded solution would add length.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05057-04

Category: Circlips

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05057-04_18fba40d-d102-400b-822e-36c9195e9cca.png?v=1788873785
