A cracked bracket is a safety matter rather than a cosmetic one. Mounting hardware is model-specific — the damper body may be common, the brackets never are. Mounting hardware is specific to the machine and the unit it belongs to.

Original Öhlins Part

An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 15505-04. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Mounting hardware is specific to the machine and the unit it belongs to. Clamps have a specified torque; over-tightening distorts the bore they hold.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 15505-04

Category: Brackets

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/15505-04_6d33d15c-d374-4c19-84e9-43711bbf2b67.png?v=1788876543
