A cracked bracket is a safety matter, not a cosmetic one.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 03106-02

What It Is

This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. Brackets and housings position the component precisely enough that it works as designed. Öhlins machines its housings from solid rather than casting them, which keeps the bores true. Mounting hardware is model-specific — the damper body may be common, the brackets never are.

Why the Original

The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Order under 03106-02. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Öhlins anodises housings for corrosion resistance rather than for looks. Brackets locate the unit against the chassis and take load in one direction only.

Fitting and Setup Service

Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 03106-02

Category: Brackets

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/03106-02_97824f08-ce6a-470b-9432-bff9fb3093d0.png?v=1788874552
