A cracked bracket is a safety matter rather than a cosmetic one. Mounting hardware is model-specific — the damper body may be common, the brackets never are. Öhlins machines its housings from solid rather than casting them, which keeps the bores true.

Why the Original

Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Order under 20029-01. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Brackets and housings position the component precisely enough that it works as designed. Brackets locate the unit against the chassis and take load in one direction only.

Fitting and Setup Service

Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 20029-01

Category: Brackets

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/20029-01_94c101e9-4c27-4a45-8b78-78343bf2652c.png?v=1788879160
