Clamps have a specified torque; over-tightening distorts the bore they hold. Adaptor pieces let one damper body serve several mounting geometries. Housing threads carry the adjusters and are the part that suffers if the adjuster is forced.

Original Öhlins Part

The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 05914-01 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Check dimension a 50 mm, dimension b 55.5 mm, dimension c 12 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. A cracked bracket is a safety matter, not a cosmetic one. A housing carries adjusters and their seals, so its bores matter as much as its outside.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05914-01

Category: Brackets

Dimension A: 50 mm

Dimension B: 55.5 mm

Dimension C: 12 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05914-01_99c3a54e-74a1-498a-af71-c87f4fd8f0e5.png?v=1788874656
