Mounting hardware is model-specific — the damper body may be common, the brackets never are. A housing carries adjusters and their seals, so its bores matter as much as its outside. Clamps have a specified torque; over-tightening distorts the bore they hold.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. Öhlins lists this part under its own number in the service catalogue so a workshop can order exactly what it needs. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it.

Getting the Number Right

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 21864-04 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Brackets locate the unit against the chassis and take load in one direction only. A cracked bracket is a safety matter rather than a cosmetic one.

Fitting and Setup Service

Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21864-04

Category: Brackets

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21864-04_12e51823-f160-4213-b74c-5588f7ef29c9.png?v=1788877932
