Öhlins machines housings from solid billet rather than casting them.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 01165-22

What It Is

There is no measurement to check here — the number and the exploded view identify it. Brackets locate the unit against the chassis and take load in one direction only. Mounting hardware is specific to the machine and the unit it belongs to. Öhlins anodises housings for corrosion resistance rather than for looks.

Genuine Service Part

An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 01165-22. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Öhlins anodises housings for corrosion resistance rather than for looks. A cracked bracket is a safety matter, not a cosmetic one.

Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 01165-22

Category: Brackets

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/01165-22_8d104143-e11d-4b96-a11e-9da5d7f934d9.png?v=1788870808
