Clamps have a specified torque; over-tightening distorts the bore they hold.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 01082-14

Original Öhlins service part

Where It Sits

There is no measurement to check here — the number and the exploded view identify it. A housing carries adjusters and their seals, so its bores matter as much as its outside. Öhlins machines housings from solid billet rather than casting them. Reservoir housings hold the gas charge and are pressure-rated accordingly.

Why the Original

The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise.

Getting the Number Right

01082-14 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. A cracked bracket is a safety matter, not a cosmetic one. A cracked bracket is a safety matter rather than a cosmetic one.

Brackets locate the damper or reservoir against the chassis and take the load in one direction only.

Fitting and Setup Service

Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 01082-14

Category: Brackets

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/01082-14_ef554123-3fcf-4977-ab54-cc84adcd9ea1.png?v=1788870665
