Öhlins uses metric threads throughout, but the length and head form are specific to the position. A wrong washer under an adjuster changes the click range without anyone noticing why. Thread size and length identify the fastener; substituting a hardware-store equivalent is not sensible in a pressurised damper.

Why the Original

Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 15430-21. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Circlips hold axial position under load; a sprung one lets the assembly walk. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 15430-21

Category: Plugs

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/15430-21_1159eaae-fc11-4b50-9aef-de40b1e658a2.png?v=1788876352
