Öhlins specifies a defined number of clicks per adjuster so a setting is a number, not an impression. Öhlins publishes the click count for each unit, and a rebuilt adjuster should return it. Electronically controlled adjusters replace the needle with a solenoid but keep the same hydraulics.

Genuine Service Part

Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Part number 21932-07 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Öhlins states dimension a 1 mm, dimension b 49.5 mm, dimension c 19 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Preload adjusters carry the full spring force and are built accordingly. Hydraulic preload adjusters are sealed units and are replaced rather than opened.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21932-07

Category: Adjustment Housings

Dimension A: 1 mm

Dimension B: 49.5 mm

Dimension C: 19 mm

Thread: M46.5x1

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21932-07_937c9ca7-f7ba-4433-974c-100f6d856869.png?v=1788878087
