Needle and seat together meter the bleed flow; damage to either changes the whole adjustment range.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 03312-10

Original Öhlins service part

What It Is

This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. Öhlins builds click adjusters with defined detents so a setting can be written down and returned to. A preload adjuster carries the full spring load and is built as a structural part. Electronically controlled adjusters replace the needle with a solenoid but keep the same hydraulics.

Genuine Service Part

Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. Suspension is one of the few areas where the original part is genuinely the cheaper decision. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Part number 03312-10 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Öhlins specifies a defined number of clicks per adjuster so a setting is a number, not an impression. Adjuster housings carry seals, and a leak there empties the damper as surely as a shaft seal.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 03312-10

Category: Adjusters

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/03312-10_2e5705c1-e61e-4698-8222-ac056f594cb9.png?v=1788872279
