Öhlins machines its housings from solid rather than casting them, which keeps the bores true. Reservoir housings hold the gas charge and are pressure-rated accordingly. Öhlins anodises housings for corrosion resistance rather than for looks.

Original Öhlins Part

An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. Öhlins numbers every position so a workshop can order precisely what it needs, not a whole assembly. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not.

Getting the Number Right

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 21931-09. Check dimension a 1.25 mm, dimension b 4 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Housings carry bores for adjusters and seals; their concentricity decides whether the unit seals. Öhlins anodises housings for corrosion resistance rather than for looks.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21931-09

Category: Adaptors

Dimension A: 1.25 mm

Dimension B: 4 mm

Thread: M8x1.25

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21931-09_6d2cb4bb-de6f-4c5b-8ff8-cfa0218c8fff.png?v=1788880509
