Öhlins uses adaptors rather than making a separate body for every chassis.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 21866-01

Original Öhlins service part

Where It Sits

Öhlins publishes no separate dimension for this position, so the part number carries the identity. Adaptors let one damper body serve several mounting geometries. Clamps have a specified torque; over-tightening distorts the bore they hold. Mounting hardware is specific to the machine and the unit it belongs to.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins lists this part under its own number in the service catalogue so a workshop can order exactly what it needs. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask.

Identifying the Right Part

The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 21866-01 in this case. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Housing threads carry the adjusters and are the part that suffers if the adjuster is forced. Mounting hardware is specific to the machine and the unit it belongs to.

Fitting and Setup Service

Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21866-01

Category: Adaptors

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21866-01_5da25851-d8c7-46fd-b84d-68d6292e8c36.png?v=1788877934
