That is the OBT003: a 47 g bracket measuring the listed height in height and the listed projection in projection. LighTech anodises it black and offers nothing else. LighTech lists it for the TRACER 7; mounting is straightforward and reversible.

Key Features

Reversible — the original part goes back on the TRACER 7 any time

Made in Italy

Fits the LighTech reservoirs the three OBT reservoirs

It is the smallest line on the order

47 g on the TRACER 7

Steel-free so nothing corrodes into the TRACER 7 fitting

Position Is the Point

The bracket is the part that has to suit the TRACER 7, not the tank. The OBT003 is the rear of the two brackets, measuring the listed height and the listed projection. It fits the LighTech reservoirs OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007 and is sold without any of them.

Care and Checks

Anodised aluminium takes brake cleaner badly; keep it off the OBT003. Beyond that the OBT003 asks nothing of you.

Application

This listing covers the Yamaha TRACER 7, 2024 to 2026. Mounting is simple, but where it ends up on the TRACER 7 is your decision, not a fixed point.

Sold Separately

LighTech sells this mount on its own. It carries LighTech's OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007 tanks, which are ordered separately. If you are starting from nothing on the TRACER 7, you need both lines on the order.

Fitting

Fitting the OBT003 to a TRACER 7 is a hand-tool job. Offer the bracket up before tightening — the hose run on the TRACER 7 decides the angle. The OBT003 leaves no trace on the TRACER 7 if you take it off again.

In the Package

LighTech ships the OBT003 on its own. Packaging carries the reference, so a second order is unambiguous.

Approval and Safety

Brake components are regulated for the obvious reason, and this is one. We list the OBT003 without an approval claim because LighTech issues none. Road use on the TRACER 7 means two steps: clarify it beforehand, test it afterwards.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT003

Type: Reservoir support

Height: see description

Projection: see description

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 47 g

Fitment: Yamaha TRACER 7 (2024 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT003-B_5321031e-5345-4ba9-8b98-eda035236096.png?v=1791207417
