The LighTech OBT009 is that bracket — 28.9 mm tall with 31 mm of projection, 10 g. Black is the only finish this bracket exists in. On a 689 cc machine like the TRACER 7 it is the cheapest cockpit change available.

Key Features

28.9 mm in height, 31 mm of projection

It is the cheapest visible change on a TRACER 7

10 g of bracket on the TRACER 7

The rear bracket of the pair

Simple, intuitive mounting — LighTech's own description, and it holds

Supplied individually for the TRACER 7

Application

LighTech lists the OBT009 for the Yamaha TRACER 7. LighTech lists it as adaptable rather than model-specific, so check the position on the TRACER 7 first.

Where the Reservoir Ends Up

The bracket is the part that has to suit the TRACER 7, not the tank. The OBT009 is the rear of the two brackets, measuring 28.9 mm and 31 mm. One bracket per reservoir — the TRACER 7 needs the tank ordered alongside.

In the Workshop

Installation on the TRACER 7 needs no special service tool. Check steering lock on the TRACER 7 once the tank is in place. It is made for the LighTech reservoir range and fits none of the original parts. Ask us and we will pair it with the right reservoir for your TRACER 7.

Approval Status

On a TRACER 7 this component carries brake or clutch fluid under pressure. There is no type approval for the OBT009; we say that plainly rather than bury it. On a registered TRACER 7, clarify the change with your inspection body, and let a workshop bleed and test the system after fitting.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT009

Type: Reservoir bracket, rear

Height: 28.9 mm

Projection: 31 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Yamaha TRACER 7 (2020 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT009_ad772e8b-a7f0-40dd-80d3-4e341d0806a5.png?v=1791204574
