The OBT009 sets the reservoir position on the Rivale 800 at 28.9 mm and 31 mm. The bracket comes black; colour lives on the reservoir, not the mount. On a 798 cc machine like the Rivale 800 it is the cheapest cockpit change available.

Key Features

Covers the Rivale 800 across 15 model years (2012 to 2026)

Simple, intuitive mounting — LighTech's own description, and it holds

Supplied individually for the Rivale 800

28.9 mm in height, 31 mm of projection

It is the cheapest visible change on a Rivale 800

Nothing on the Rivale 800 is drilled, cut or permanently altered

In the Workshop

Fitting the OBT009 to a Rivale 800 is a hand-tool job. Offer the bracket up before tightening — the hose run on the Rivale 800 decides the angle. Nothing on the Rivale 800 is drilled or cut.

Compatibility

LighTech lists the OBT009 for the MV Agusta Rivale 800. It is an adaptable bracket, not a MV Agusta part — measure the space on the Rivale 800 first.

Position Is the Point

A reservoir that is not held properly is a reservoir that moves. LighTech dimensions the OBT009 to 28.9 mm by 31 mm so the hose run stays short on the Rivale 800. One bracket per reservoir — the Rivale 800 needs the tank ordered alongside.

Scope of Delivery

LighTech ships the OBT009 on its own. Packaging carries the reference, so a second order is unambiguous.

Order This With It

No reservoir is included with the OBT009. The tank — OBT001, OBT006 or OBT007 — is a separate article. A complete installation on the Rivale 800 is one tank plus one bracket.

Care and Checks

Anodised aluminium takes brake cleaner badly; keep it off the OBT009. There is no service interval for the part itself.

Road Use and Approval

A fluid reservoir is part of the braking system, and German law treats it that way. There is no type approval for the OBT009; we say that plainly rather than bury it. Track-only machines raise no approval question; a registered Rivale 800 does.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT009

Type: Reservoir bracket, rear

Height: 28.9 mm

Projection: 31 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: MV Agusta Rivale 800 (2012 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT009_84cc1611-ea42-4277-833f-3f812b87605b.png?v=1791204299
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-reservoir-bracket-rear-mv-agusta-rivale-800-2012-2026-obt009
