The OBT009 is the rear bracket: 28.9 mm by 31 mm, black anodised, 10 g. One finish only: black, as LighTech supplies it. It is among the least expensive visible changes you can make to a CBR 600 RR.

Key Features

Black anodised — LighTech makes this bracket in no other finish

A stock LighTech item rather than a special order

28.9 mm in height, 31 mm of projection

It is the smallest line on the order

Decides where the reservoir ends up on the CBR 600 RR

Fitting the OBT009 to the CBR 600 RR needs hand tools only

Where the Reservoir Ends Up

The bracket is the part that has to suit the CBR 600 RR, not the tank. Black anodised aluminium at 10 g, which is all the OBT009 needs to be. One bracket per reservoir — the CBR 600 RR needs the tank ordered alongside.

Fitment and Compatibility

The listing is for the CBR 600 RR and the years 2003 to 2026. Mounting is simple, but where it ends up on the CBR 600 RR is your decision, not a fixed point.

Fitting

Fitting the OBT009 to a CBR 600 RR is a hand-tool job. Offer the bracket up before tightening — the hose run on the CBR 600 RR decides the angle. Instructions are in the box; the CBR 600 RR needs no modification.

Care and Checks

Check the bracket fasteners on the CBR 600 RR at the same interval as the bar clamps. There is no service interval for the part itself.

In the Package

LighTech ships the OBT009 on its own. The part number is all you need to quote for a repeat order on the CBR 600 RR.

The Second Part Number

No reservoir is included with the OBT009. The tank — OBT001, OBT006 or OBT007 — is a separate article. If you are starting from nothing on the CBR 600 RR, you need both lines on the order.

Approval and Safety

The hydraulic circuit is the one area where a styling part stops being a styling part. LighTech does not certify the OBT009 for road use, and neither do we. On a registered CBR 600 RR, clarify the change with your inspection body, and let a workshop bleed and test the system after fitting.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT009

Type: Reservoir bracket, rear

Height: 28.9 mm

Projection: 31 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Honda CBR 600 RR (2003 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT009_7ad19938-5947-4e40-a98e-b01a259b43d8.png?v=1791204062
