That is the OBT009: a 10 g bracket measuring 28.9 mm in height and 31 mm in projection. No finish to choose: LighTech lists the OBT009 in black alone. LighTech lists it for the CB750 HORNET; mounting is straightforward and reversible.

Key Features

Made in Italy

Fits the LighTech reservoirs the OBT reservoir family

Sold separately from the reservoir, as LighTech supplies it

A stock LighTech item rather than a special order

Fitting the OBT009 to the CB750 HORNET needs hand tools only

28.9 mm in height, 31 mm of projection

The Mount Decides the Fit

Position decides whether the hose runs clean or kinks on a CB750 HORNET. Black anodised aluminium at 10 g, which is all the OBT009 needs to be. It is the smallest part of the installation.

Fitting

Fitting the OBT009 to a CB750 HORNET is a hand-tool job. Offer the bracket up before tightening — the hose run on the CB750 HORNET decides the angle. Nothing on the CB750 HORNET is drilled or cut.

Fitment

Fitment is the CB750 HORNET across 2024 to 2026. LighTech lists it as adaptable rather than model-specific, so check the position on the CB750 HORNET first.

What Is in the Box

The OBT009 is supplied as a single bracket with its fasteners. Spares are listed under their own numbers rather than bundled.

Maintenance

Vibration finds every loose fastener on the CB750 HORNET eventually. The OBT009 needs no maintenance of its own beyond that.

The Second Part Number

The OBT009 is a bracket and nothing else. It is made for the LighTech reservoir range and fits none of the original parts. If you are starting from nothing on the CB750 HORNET, you need both lines on the order.

Approval Status

The hydraulic circuit is the one area where a styling part stops being a styling part. Nothing in the OBT009 box constitutes a type approval. Have a workshop bleed and pressure-test the CB750 HORNET circuit once the part is on, whatever your inspector says.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT009

Type: Reservoir bracket, rear

Height: 28.9 mm

Projection: 31 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Honda CB750 HORNET (2024 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT009_37f1966b-8844-4b09-9118-687cee765795.png?v=1791204032
