The OBT003 sets the reservoir position on the Z800 at the listed height and the listed projection. The bracket comes black; colour lives on the reservoir, not the mount. It changes the part of the Z800 the rider looks at most.

Key Features

Black anodised — LighTech makes this bracket in no other finish

Simple, intuitive mounting — LighTech's own description, and it holds

Fits the LighTech reservoirs the OBT reservoir family

47 g of bracket on the Z800

47 g on the Z800

Supplied individually for the Z800

Why the Bracket Matters

The bracket is the part that has to suit the Z800, not the tank. LighTech dimensions the OBT003 to the listed height by the listed projection so the hose run stays short on the Z800. Black is the only finish LighTech makes it in.

Installation

Fitting the OBT003 to a Z800 is a hand-tool job. Offer the bracket up before tightening — the hose run on the Z800 decides the angle. No permanent alteration to the Z800 is involved.

What It Fits

Fitment is the Z800 across 2012 to 2016. The bracket carries the reservoir; check the space on your Z800 before deciding front or rear.

Scope of Delivery

One bracket per package for the Z800. LighTech keeps it as a stock item.

Maintenance

Vibration finds every loose fastener on the Z800 eventually. The OBT003 needs no maintenance of its own beyond that.

Sold Separately

LighTech sells this mount on its own. It is made for the LighTech reservoir range and fits none of the original parts. Ask us and we will pair it with the right reservoir for your Z800.

Brake System and Road Approval

Brake components are regulated for the obvious reason, and this is one. Nothing in the OBT003 box constitutes a type approval. For a road-registered Z800 in Germany, have the installation assessed before you rely on it — and have the system bled and checked by a workshop afterwards.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT003

Type: Reservoir support

Height: see description

Projection: see description

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 47 g

Fitment: Kawasaki Z800 (2012 to 2016)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT003-B_4cad18ca-76ac-49af-82e8-b4307fe43c5d.png?v=1791206997
