That is the OBT003: a 47 g bracket measuring the listed height in height and the listed projection in projection. No finish to choose: LighTech lists the OBT003 in black alone. On a 599 cc machine like the CBR 600 RR it is the cheapest cockpit change available.

Key Features

Reversible — the original part goes back on the CBR 600 RR any time

47 g of bracket on the CBR 600 RR

Simple, intuitive mounting — LighTech's own description, and it holds

the listed height in height, the listed projection of projection

LighTech part number OBT003, listed for the Honda CBR 600 RR

Fitting the OBT003 to the CBR 600 RR needs hand tools only

Position Is the Point

Position decides whether the hose runs clean or kinks on a CBR 600 RR. Black anodised aluminium at 47 g, which is all the OBT003 needs to be. It is the smallest part of the installation.

Application

The listing is for the CBR 600 RR and the years 2003 to 2026. The bracket carries the reservoir; check the space on your CBR 600 RR before deciding front or rear.

Maintenance

Check the bracket fasteners on the CBR 600 RR at the same interval as the bar clamps. Otherwise it is a fit-and-forget item on the CBR 600 RR.

Mounting It

Installation on the CBR 600 RR needs no special service tool. Mount it so the reservoir sits above the master cylinder on the CBR 600 RR, never below. Re-check the fasteners after the first ride.

Order This With It

The OBT003 is a bracket and nothing else. The tank — OBT001, OBT006 or OBT007 — is a separate article. If you are starting from nothing on the CBR 600 RR, you need both lines on the order.

Scope of Delivery

The OBT003 is supplied as a single bracket with its fasteners. LighTech keeps it as a stock item.

Approval and Safety

What looks like a cosmetic swap on the CBR 600 RR is a change to a safety system. LighTech supplies no type-approval document with the OBT003, and we make no approval claim for it. Road use on the CBR 600 RR means two steps: clarify it beforehand, test it afterwards.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT003

Type: Reservoir support

Height: see description

Projection: see description

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 47 g

Fitment: Honda CBR 600 RR (2003 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT003-B_98b57ab3-6376-4ee4-b1e3-4265148ec533.png?v=1791206899
