The OBT008 sets the reservoir position on the NINJA 500 at 60.6 mm and 90.3 mm. Black anodised, and black is the whole range for the OBT008. Nothing on the NINJA 500 is cut or drilled to fit it.

Key Features

Steel-free so nothing corrodes into the NINJA 500 fitting

Black anodised — LighTech makes this bracket in no other finish

10 g on the NINJA 500

Made in Italy

The OBT008 is machined from solid, not cast or pressed

LighTech part number OBT008, listed for the Kawasaki NINJA 500

The Mount Decides the Fit

Position decides whether the hose runs clean or kinks on a NINJA 500. The OBT008 is the front of the two brackets, measuring 60.6 mm and 90.3 mm. One bracket per reservoir — the NINJA 500 needs the tank ordered alongside.

Installation

The OBT008 goes on with the NINJA 500 on its stand. Offer the bracket up before tightening — the hose run on the NINJA 500 decides the angle. The OBT008 leaves no trace on the NINJA 500 if you take it off again.

Fitment

LighTech catalogues the OBT008 for the NINJA 500 (2024 to 2026). LighTech lists it as adaptable rather than model-specific, so check the position on the NINJA 500 first.

What You Get

LighTech ships the OBT008 on its own. Nothing else about the OBT008 wears in normal use.

Before You Order

LighTech sells this mount on its own. It is made for the LighTech reservoir range and fits none of the original parts. A complete installation on the NINJA 500 is one tank plus one bracket.

Approval and Safety

Brake components are regulated for the obvious reason, and this is one. The OBT008 is sold without approval documentation of any kind. We would rather you asked your inspection body first than found out at the next test.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT008

Type: Reservoir bracket, front

Height: 60.6 mm

Projection: 90.3 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Kawasaki NINJA 500 (2024 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT008NER_f16eb652-d007-4453-a599-e51be2d54955.png?v=1791204959
