That is the OBT008: a 10 g bracket measuring 60.6 mm in height and 90.3 mm in projection. The bracket comes black; colour lives on the reservoir, not the mount. It goes onto the Panigale 899 without modification and comes off again just as easily.

Key Features

A stock LighTech item rather than a special order

Nothing on the Panigale 899 is drilled, cut or permanently altered

Decides where the reservoir ends up on the Panigale 899

Made in Italy

Black anodised — LighTech makes this bracket in no other finish

LighTech part number OBT008, listed for the Ducati Panigale 899

Position Is the Point

Position decides whether the hose runs clean or kinks on a Panigale 899. The OBT008 is the front of the two brackets, measuring 60.6 mm and 90.3 mm. It fits the LighTech reservoirs OBT001, OBT006 and OBT007 and is sold without any of them.

Looking After It

Anodised aluminium takes brake cleaner badly; keep it off the OBT008. LighTech lists it as adaptable rather than model-specific, so check the position on the Panigale 899 first.

Sold Separately

The OBT008 is a bracket and nothing else. It is made for the LighTech reservoir range and fits none of the original parts. A complete installation on the Panigale 899 is one tank plus one bracket.

Fitting

Allow half an hour on the Panigale 899 including bleeding. Check steering lock on the Panigale 899 once the tank is in place. No permanent alteration to the Panigale 899 is involved.

In the Package

LighTech ships the OBT008 on its own. The part number is all you need to quote for a repeat order on the Panigale 899.

Regulations and the Hydraulic Circuit

A fluid reservoir is part of the braking system, and German law treats it that way. LighTech does not certify the OBT008 for road use, and neither do we. Road use on the Panigale 899 means two steps: clarify it beforehand, test it afterwards.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT008

Type: Reservoir bracket, front

Height: 60.6 mm

Projection: 90.3 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Ducati Panigale 899 (2012 to 2017)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT008NER_ef2cb35f-038e-45aa-b615-9e450d5925ac.png?v=1791204821
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-reservoir-bracket-front-ducati-panigale-899-2012-2017-obt008
