LighTech publishes no further detail for this part number, so we do not add any. A single part with a short list of arguments, all of them checkable.

What It Fits

This listing covers an Yamaha R9 (2025 to 2026). The cover is cut for this pump: a cover from another model will not seal the same way. Ask us first if the bike runs an aftermarket master cylinder.

Installation

Keep the reservoir level while the cover is off — that alone prevents most spills. Keep brake fluid off painted and anodised surfaces; it damages both. We will fit it for you on request.

Before You Order

What the FBC36 does and does not include. What arrives is the part itself. Brake fluid is behind this cover: keep the original seal, fit it dry, seat it flat, and do not overtighten the screws. The manufacturer's description for this part number is brief, and we have not padded it. Ask us if anything is unclear before ordering.

What Is in the Box

Supplied is one master cylinder cover, FBC36. 5 anodised colours are available: Black, Blue, Green, Grey, Red. It arrives in LighTech's own packaging.

Approval

What comes with it in terms of documentation. No German approval document comes with the FBC36 — no ABE and no Teilegutachten. For a road-registered R9 ask your inspection body if you want it in writing.

At a Glance

Brand: LighTech

Part number: FBC36

Type: Brake/clutch master cylinder cover

Function: Replaces the cover on the master cylinder reservoir

Supplied as: Single item

Colours: 5 — Black, Blue, Green, Grey, Red

Origin: Made in Italy

Weight: 45 g

Fitment: Yamaha R9 (2025 to 2026)

Road approval: No ABE or parts certificate supplied

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_FBC34NER_6a6e0a_71769b41-62f1-4d3d-9f35-6ee1a716b18a.png?v=1791985291
