The FBC25 is LighTech's reservoir cover for an S1000R — Ergal, anodised, sold individually. It is a stock LighTech item. The alloy is Ergal, anodised afterwards — light and resistant, by the manufacturer's account.

Key Features

One cover per order

Weight 55 g

Covers an S1000R across 5 model years (2022 to 2026)

Shape matched to the master cylinder of this model

Sold individually

Made in Italy

At Eye Level

A cockpit is judged on its smallest parts. What the FBC25 changes on an S1000R is the one surface at eye level, completely. That is the whole case for it; there is no third argument.

In the Workshop

Have the new cover and the screws ready before the old one comes off. Nothing about this benefits from being done quickly. We can do the fitting and a brake check in one appointment.

Fitment and Compatibility

The FBC25 is intended for an BMW S1000R from 2022 to 2026. The cover is cut for this pump: a cover from another model will not seal the same way. One message with the vehicle details and we confirm or correct the choice.

Before You Order

The scope of the FBC25, stated plainly. No part of the description is optional equipment. This is the cover, not the reservoir and not its seal. Reuse the original gasket or diaphragm unless it is damaged, and check that the cover seats flat before you ride. One question before ordering is cheaper than one return afterwards.

Scope of Delivery

Supplied is one master cylinder cover, FBC25. 2 anodised colours are available: Black, Silver. Documentation for German registration is not part of it — see below.

Approval and Road Use

This part sits on the brake system, so a word on it. LighTech supplies the FBC25 without a type-approval certificate. A cover that replaces the original like for like is not normally the issue — a leaking one is. Check it before you ride a registered S1000R.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: FBC25

Type: Brake/clutch master cylinder cover

Material: Ergal aluminium alloy, anodised

Manufacture: Machined from solid, CNC

Marking: LighTech logo, laser-marked

Origin: Made in Italy

Weight: 55 g

Fitment: BMW S1000R (2022 to 2026)

Road approval: No ABE or parts certificate supplied

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_FBC25NER_2c4fee_8b66510b-b81d-454b-9a09-3dd784f5caf2.png?v=1791985736
