The TAR025 is M8x40 in anodised Ergal 7075, two screws and two washers per kit, in 7 colours. 7 anodised colours to match the rest of the bike. The same alloy LighTech uses for its rearsets and plate holders.

Key Features

Covers an MT-09 across 14 model years (2013 to 2026)

A stock LighTech item

Ergal 7075, anodised

Made in Italy

7 colours — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Orange, Red, Silver

Screw size M8x40

Fitment and Compatibility

The TAR025 belongs to a holder, and the holder belongs to the bike. An Yamaha MT-09 is where the holder goes; the M8x40 screws have to suit that holder. The holder's part number is the fastest way for us to confirm the M8x40 fits.

Why Matching Hardware

Corrosion starts where two different metals meet, and that is at the screw. Two screws and two washers are what hold the plate; the TAR025 makes them match. That is the whole case for it; there is no third argument.

One Thing to Note

Where the TAR025 ends. Two M8x40 screws and two washers — that is the content. LighTech's own instruction is to confirm compatibility with your plate holder model before buying the TAR025. Italian manufacture, like everything else LighTech makes.

In the Workshop

The TAR025 is a five-minute job at the back of the bike. Aluminium fasteners want a torque wrench, not a long lever. Fitting is part of what we do on site.

Supplied As

The scope of the TAR025: two flat-head screws and two conical-head washers. 7 anodised colours are available: Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Orange, Red, Silver. You supply the tools; the kit comes as described.

Approval and Road Use

On approval documents. There is no ABE and no parts certificate in the box with the TAR025. For a road-registered MT-09, clarify with your inspection body whether a number plate holder and its hardware need documentation in your case.

At a Glance

Brand: LighTech

Part number: TAR025

Type: Licence plate holder bolt kit

Material: Ergal 7075, anodised

Screw size: M8x40

Contents: 2 flat-head screws + 2 conical-head washers M8 Ø 8/25

Origin: Made in Italy

Weight: 25 g

Fitment: Yamaha MT-09 (2013 to 2026)

Road approval: No ABE or parts certificate supplied

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_TAR008_245a7c_009edcb9-9af1-4c40-95e5-9fecd8819025.png?v=1791962966
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-licence-plate-holder-bolt-kit-m8x40-yamaha-mt-09-2013-2026-tar025
