LighTech builds the FRE929NER in aluminium and has the pair E8 approved. It is meant to go onto a LighTech holder, not onto the original TENERE 700 EXTREME EDITION bracket.

Key Features

Usable at the front and at the rear of the TENERE 700 EXTREME EDITION

May need a load resistor or an LED flasher relay — see the note below

E8 type approval for the indicator pair

Supplied as a pair

Machined aluminium housing

Covers the TENERE 700 EXTREME EDITION across 8 model years (2019 to 2026)

What It Fits

This listing covers the Yamaha TENERE 700 EXTREME EDITION, 2019 to 2026. Check what the indicator will be mounted to before ordering. Ask before ordering if anything is unclear — it is quickly answered.

Why Change the Indicators

The original indicators are sized for a crash test, not for the look of a TENERE 700 EXTREME EDITION. The FRE929NER is an E8-approved pair that can go on the front or the rear. E8 is a component approval; where and how they are fitted is a separate question.

One Electrical Point

LED indicators bring one complication with them. A standard flasher is a load-dependent device. Fit the FRE929NER without compensating and the TENERE 700 EXTREME EDITION will blink fast. We can tell you before you order whether the TENERE 700 EXTREME EDITION is one of the machines that needs compensation.

Installation

Fitting the FRE929NER is a two-wire connection per side. Use the original cable runs where you can; they are already clear of the wheel. Inspect the wiring at every service.

Scope of Delivery

One pair per order. Two indicators and their fixings; nothing electrical beyond that.

Type Approval

Unlike most of the LighTech range, the FRE929NER is a type-approved component: E8. The approval travels with the part; whether the fitted position is legal is a separate question. For a road-registered TENERE 700 EXTREME EDITION, have the fitted position assessed if you are unsure.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: FRE929NER

Type: LED turn signals, pair

Approval: E8 component type approval

Material: Aluminium

Position: Front or rear

Length per unit: 64 mm

Supplied as: Pair

Note: May require a load resistor or LED relay

Finish: Black

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_FRE929-2_fc4f92_f31fa564-ced8-4a4a-a3fe-5c8867c3161e.png?v=1791967706
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-led-turn-signals-yamaha-tenere-700-extreme-edition-2019-2026-fre929ner
