The LighTech FRE930 is a pair of aluminium LED indicators, E8 approved, 95 g. The listing covers the MT-09 TRACER across 12 model years (2015 to 2026).

Key Features

Listed for the Yamaha MT-09 TRACER

A stock LighTech item

Usable at the front and at the rear of the MT-09 TRACER

95 g

E8 type approval for the indicator pair

2 colours: Blue, Red

Before You Order: Resistors

There is a detail to settle before the FRE930 goes on the MT-09 TRACER. A standard flasher is a load-dependent device. Fit the FRE930 without compensating and the MT-09 TRACER will blink fast. It is a five-minute job for someone who knows the loom of the MT-09 TRACER, and a long evening for someone who does not.

The Cheapest Visible Change

The original indicators are sized for a crash test, not for the look of an MT-09 TRACER. LighTech builds the FRE930 to sit on one of its holders. A stock item rather than a special order.

Fitment

The listing is the MT-09 TRACER, model years 2015 to 2026. It is the mount, not the model, that determines whether it bolts up. Ask before ordering if anything is unclear — it is quickly answered.

Installation

The FRE930 goes on with the ignition off and the battery disconnected. Use the original cable runs where you can; they are already clear of the wheel. The original parts go back on the MT-09 TRACER at any time.

What You Get

Two indicators per box. Resistors or an LED relay are separate part numbers where the MT-09 TRACER needs them.

Type Approval

The FRE930 carries E8 type approval, which is a European component approval. The approval travels with the part; whether the fitted position is legal is a separate question. Keep the documentation that comes with the part; an inspector may ask for it.

The Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: FRE930

Type: LED turn signals, pair

Approval: E8 component type approval

Material: Aluminium

Position: Front or rear

Length per unit: 67 mm

Supplied as: Pair

Note: May require a load resistor or LED relay

Colours: 2 — Blue, Red

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_FRE930COB_ac8aaf_dfa7bb3e-c045-45fa-9580-0ca8c9a1847a.png?v=1791970891
