The ISS201LT is the mirror of the brake-side guard, built for the 790 DUKE clutch lever. The guard body is fixed; only the bushes vary, in 7 colours. LighTech catalogues it for the 790 DUKE; each guard is sold as a single item.

Key Features

Keeps a dropped 790 DUKE from costing a clutch lever

Supplied with the instructions the 790 DUKE fitting needs

No drilling and no cutting on the 790 DUKE

Sold individually — a 790 DUKE needs one per side for full cover

39.6 g on the left bar end of the 790 DUKE

Same geometry as the brake side, so the 790 DUKE can run a matched pair

Worth Protecting Anyway

Most 790 DUKE levers that get replaced are clutch levers, not brake levers. LighTech uses the same carbon- and graphite-filled polymer on the ISS201LT as on the brake side. The bushes come in several colours, which is the only decision left.

Compatibility and Installation

LighTech lists the ISS201LT for the KTM 790 DUKE. Fitting needs the correct adapter for the 790 DUKE — see the note below.

Supplied As

LighTech sells the ISS201LT individually, not as a left-and-right set. The bar adapter is packed with the ISS201LT whenever a “With Adapter” value is ordered. Packaging carries the reference, so a second order for the 790 DUKE is unambiguous.

Fitting

The ISS201LT mounts at the bar end of the 790 DUKE; the controls stay where they are. With the adapter in place the guard bolts on and is set for angle before final tightening. If the 790 DUKE runs aftermarket bars, confirm the bore before ordering.

Choosing the Adapter

LighTech makes the guard and its mount as two parts; here they come in one order. Adapters are not interchangeable between models; the KTM 790 DUKE has its own. The “Adapter” option names the part for the 790 DUKE: KPL329, preselected — one guard, one adapter per side. Riders who keep their KPL329 and only renew the ISS201LT on the 790 DUKE choose “Without Adapter”.

Regulations and Road Use

No series we know of requires a clutch lever guard on a 790 DUKE. The ISS201LT is sold without approval paperwork. Track and paddock use raise no question.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS201LT

Type: GC-Tech clutch lever guard

Material: Technical polymer, carbon and graphite filled

Guard weight: 39.6 g

Guard length: 132 mm

Origin: Made in Italy

Bush colours: 7 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red

Weight: 110 g

Supplied as: Single item

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ISS201LTNER_802a7678-d67f-4fd7-b4c6-9bf6f6d99e58.png?v=1791966042
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-gc-tech-clutch-lever-guard-132-mm-ktm-790-duke-2018-2026-iss201lt
