Enter the ISS200RT: 132 mm guard length of GC-Tech polymer in front of the R1M brake lever. LighTech makes the bushes in 7 finishes for this guard. The listing covers the R1M across 12 model years (2015 to 2026).

Key Features

LighTech logo and the Italian tricolour on the end section

132 mm guard length of span in front of the R1M brake lever

Original R1M controls stay exactly where they are

Meets the lever-guard requirement most track organisers apply to the R1M

Covers the R1M across 12 model years (2015 to 2026)

110 g on the bar of the R1M

Scope of Delivery

What arrives is one complete guard assembly for the R1M. With the preselected “Adapter” value, the adapter for the R1M arrives in the same delivery as the ISS200RT. Packaging carries the reference, so a second order for the R1M is unambiguous.

The Failure It Stops

Two bikes touching at 998 cc speed is survivable; a locked front wheel often is not. The ISS200RT puts a bridge in front of the lever so contact loads the guard, not the brake. The polymer deforms under impact and returns, where aluminium would stay bent.

Fitment and Compatibility

This listing covers the Yamaha R1M, 2015 to 2026. The guard mounts to the bar end of the R1M via the matching LighTech adapter.

Fitting It to the Bike

The ISS200RT goes on with the R1M on its stand and nothing dismantled. Set the guard angle on the R1M so it clears the fairing at full lock, then tighten. Instructions are in the box; the R1M needs no modification.

Before You Order

The ISS200RT needs an adapter before it can go on the R1M, and this page takes care of it. Which adapter the R1M needs depends on the internal diameter of its bar tube. The adapter the R1M takes is KPL311; it is preselected in the “Adapter” option, which makes the order a complete installation. Switch to “Without Adapter” only if you already own KPL311.

Road Approval and Regulations

Racing regulations have required brake lever protection for years; track days increasingly follow. There is no type-approval document for the ISS200RT, and we do not present one. On a road-registered R1M the fitted position is a question for your inspection body, not for us.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS200RT

Type: GC-Tech brake lever guard

Material: Technical polymer, carbon and graphite filled

Guard weight: 39.6 g

Guard length: 132 mm

Origin: Made in Italy

Bush colours: 7 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red

Weight: 110 g

Supplied as: Single item

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ISS200RTNER_4ef86894-5b2f-4a47-a1be-f54f0a3e93d9.png?v=1791966512
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-gc-tech-brake-lever-guard-132-mm-yamaha-r1m-2015-2026-iss200rt
