LighTech lists the KTYB as a bolt kit for the tank cap of 6 pieces. It weighs 16 g. This listing covers a STREET TRIPLE 675 R across 10 model years (2007 to 2016).

Key Features

Weight 16 g

Set of 6 pieces

Replaces the screws around the filler cap

A stock LighTech item

Listed for the Triumph STREET TRIPLE 675 R

Ergal 7075, anodised

Why These Screws

There are two reasons to change a tank cap, and only one of them is weight. LighTech lists these screws separately because the fairing kits do not always include them. No part of this needs a leap of faith.

What Is Included

Worth knowing about the KTYB. Nothing beyond the described scope is in the box. These are the screws for the tank cap, 6 of them. The cap itself is a separate part number. A stock LighTech item, so a second one is not a special order.

What It Fits

The KTYB is intended for a Triumph STREET TRIPLE 675 R from 2007 to 2016. The screws match the cap on this bike, which is what the listing names. Ask us first if the bike runs an aftermarket tank.

What You Get

Delivered is the bolt kit KTYB. 5 finishes are available: Black, Blue, Gold, Red, Silver. What ships is the part named above and its packaging.

In the Workshop

Tighten evenly; an aluminium screw does not forgive a long lever. Give yourself more time than the job seems to need. Ask us if you would rather have it fitted than fit it.

Approval

Before the subject of the next inspection comes up. There is no German certificate for the KTYB, and we do not imply one. There is nothing to approve about a set of screws; there is something to check after the first ride.

The Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: KTYB

Type: Bolt kit for the tank cap

Material: Ergal 7075, anodised

Pieces: 6

Supplied as: Single item

Origin: Made in Italy

Weight: 16 g

Fitment: Triumph STREET TRIPLE 675 R (2007 to 2016)

Road approval: No ABE or parts certificate supplied

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_KC-KT-ALL_549ad1_8732afb4-a81d-47de-acd5-d84be689bbc8.png?v=1792487357
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-fuel-cap-bolt-kit-triumph-street-triple-675-r-2007-2016-ktyb
