The LighTech LEVD155K is the folding Model K (ALIEN) brake lever: magnesium and aluminium, 240 g, with black rubber inserts for grip, with other colours available separately. It costs a fraction of the fairing a folding lever saves on a SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RR.

Key Features

A stock LighTech item rather than a special order

Model K is the one to pick if you want to colour-match the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RR

Rubber inserts give grip with a wet glove on the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RR

100 % Made in Italy, with the tricolour logo on the blade

Model K (ALIEN): black rubber grip inserts as standard

Machined from magnesium and aluminium, not cast

Fitting

No fluid is lost fitting the LEVD155K to a SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RR — the circuit stays closed. Work the lever through its full travel before you trust it on the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RR. No bleeding and no adjustment of the master cylinder is involved.

Reach, Weight, Survival

There are two reasons to change a lever, and only one of them is weight. LighTech states the LEVD155K is produced in compliance with the highway code and the applicable laws. At 240 g the LEVD155K is lighter than the original on the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RR.

Compatibility

LighTech lists the LEVD155K for the Triumph SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RR. The LEVD155K uses the original pivot bolt and the original perch of the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RR.

What Is in the Box

LighTech ships the LEVD155K individually, not as a left-and-right pair. A matched pair on the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RR means ordering both sides.

J, K and H

Model K is the version with grip inserts in the blade. Black rubber inserts come as standard, and LighTech sells them in other colours as separate items if you want to match the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RR. All three models mount to the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RR the same way; only this detail differs.

What LighTech Declares

LighTech presents these levers as compliant with the highway code. A declaration is not a certificate, and the LEVD155K ships without one.
