Enter the LEVD155K: a 240 g folding brake lever for the Panigale 1299, Model K (ALIEN), with the ALIEN rubber inserts — black as standard, other colours on request. Sold individually, so a matched pair on the Panigale 1299 is two part numbers.

Key Features

Reach adjustment on the blade

Model K (ALIEN): black rubber grip inserts as standard

Covers the Panigale 1299 across 4 model years (2015 to 2018)

Developed for the braking loads a Panigale 1299 actually generates

Folds away on contact, which is what keeps a Panigale 1299 rideable after a drop

A stock LighTech item rather than a special order

Installation

Installation on the Panigale 1299 needs one hex key and a spanner. Check that the blade folds freely by hand once the bolt is tight. Re-check the pivot bolt after the first ride.

The Case for Magnesium

What ends a track session is rarely the crash — it is the broken lever afterwards. LighTech machines the LEVD155K from magnesium and aluminium and hinges the blade so it folds under impact. Made in Italy throughout, with the tricolour on the blade.

Fitment and Compatibility

LighTech catalogues the LEVD155K for the Panigale 1299 (2015 to 2018). It replaces the original lever on the standard perch of the Panigale 1299 — no adapter and no modification.

Scope of Delivery

LighTech ships the LEVD155K individually, not as a left-and-right pair. Grip inserts and spare pivots are listed under their own numbers.

Choosing a Model

The ALIEN is the K, and the inserts are its reason for being. Standard black inserts, with LighTech's colour range available separately for the Panigale 1299. LighTech's other models (the plain black J and the newer H geometry) differ in finish and shape, not in construction.

Regulations

LighTech presents these levers as compliant with the highway code. German registration documents are a separate matter, and the LEVD155K has none. For a track-only Panigale 1299 none of this applies.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: LEVD155K

Type: Folding brake lever

Model: Model K (ALIEN)

Material: Magnesium and aluminium, machined

Folding: Yes

Adjustment: Reach adjustment on the blade

Finish: Black

Origin: Made in Italy

Weight: 240 g

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_LEVD155K_881005f8-6d6c-41d8-916b-6a4625ac608b.png?v=1791209391
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-folding-brake-lever-k-ducati-panigale-1299-2015-2018-levd155k
