LighTech machines the OBT007 from billet and lines it in plastic so 16 cm³ of fluid stays visible. The shell comes in 8 anodised colours. Fitting it to a Brutale 675 is a job of minutes, not hours.

Key Features

LighTech part number OBT007, listed for the MV Agusta Brutale 675

Translucent plastic liner, so the fluid level on the Brutale 675 stays readable

Laser-marked with the LighTech logo

Universal by design: LighTech builds one reservoir, not one per MV Agusta model

Laser-engraved LighTech logo on the shell

It is the cheapest visible change on a Brutale 675

Looking After It

A translucent liner only helps if you look at it; make the OBT007 part of the pre-ride check. Beyond that the OBT007 asks nothing of you.

Why the Original Falls Short

Brake fluid absorbs water, which is why the level and the colour are worth seeing. At 16 cm³ the OBT007 matches the capacity the original reservoir of the Brutale 675 carries. At 106 g it weighs about what the plastic original does.

Application

LighTech catalogues the OBT007 for the Brutale 675 (2012 to 2017). LighTech builds this reservoir as a universal part — it is not machined to the Brutale 675 specifically, and the fit depends on where you mount it.

Mounting It

The OBT007 goes on with the Brutale 675 on its stand. Bleed and pressure-test the circuit on the Brutale 675 afterwards; this is not a cosmetic part. No permanent alteration to the Brutale 675 is involved.

What Is in the Box

One reservoir per box, with its sealing gasket. Spares are listed under their own numbers rather than bundled.

What You Also Need

LighTech sells the reservoir and its mount as separate articles. Three mounts exist — OBT003, OBT008 and OBT009 — and which suits the Brutale 675 depends on where you want the tank. Tell us where you want it on the Brutale 675 and we will put the right bracket on the order.

Approval Status

What looks like a cosmetic swap on the Brutale 675 is a change to a safety system. LighTech does not certify the OBT007 for road use, and neither do we. Road use on the Brutale 675 means two steps: clarify it beforehand, test it afterwards.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT007

Type: Brake/clutch fluid reservoir

Capacity: 16 cm³

Shell: Billet aluminium, anodised

Liner: Translucent plastic

Seal: Rubber gasket under the cap

Bracket: Not included — OBT003 / OBT008 / OBT009

Colours: 8 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Weight: 106 g

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT007NER_17fc2b13-a8df-44fa-abc1-0324ba9a1f8d.png?v=1791206062
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-fluid-reservoir-16-cm-mv-agusta-brutale-675-2012-2017-obt007
