LighTech lists the 6Y1M as an engine bolt kit with 35 pieces. It is a stock LighTech item. LighTech lists it as a universal item.

Key Features

LighTech part number 6Y1M

A stock LighTech item

Made in Italy

126 g

Replaces the engine-side fasteners

5 colours — Black, Blue, Gold, Red, Silver

Thirty Screws, One Colour

Nothing on a bike is seen more often and considered less than its screws. The 6Y1M replaces the screws that corrode first on a motorcycle and are hardest to remove once they have. What it does not do is change how the bike rides.

What It Fits

LighTech lists the 6Y1M as a universal item. What decides the fit is the thread and length of the original screws. If you are unsure, send us the vehicle details and we will confirm it.

Before You Order

Worth knowing about the 6Y1M. The kit substitutes the factory fasteners and nothing beyond them. LighTech states the kit contains 35 pieces — that is the figure for this part number, not for the range. A stock LighTech item, so a second one is not a special order.

Mounting It

Fitting the 6Y1M is an afternoon of hand tools, not a workshop job. Aluminium fasteners want a torque wrench, not a long lever. We can do the fitting and the check over in one appointment.

What Is in the Box

6Y1M covers the engine fasteners, 35 pieces. Choose from 5 anodised finishes: Black, Blue, Gold, Red, Silver. The LighTech instruction sheet is in the box where one is supplied.

Road Approval

A word on paperwork. No German approval document comes with the 6Y1M — no ABE and no Teilegutachten. Clarify it in advance if the motorcycle is used on public roads.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: 6Y1M

Type: Engine bolt kit

Material: Ergal 7075, anodised

Function: Replaces the original engine-side fasteners

Supplied as: Complete kit

Origin: Made in Italy

Weight: 126 g

Fitment: Universal

Road approval: No ABE or parts certificate supplied

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_KIT-VITI-NER_5a1d1d_b9b90e0e-4810-4a0f-9cfb-0c29b98968bd.png?v=1791963857
