The LighTech ISS116LC is the carbon clutch lever guard: a carbon body with a coloured aluminium end, 132 mm guard length, 119 g. The ISS116LC is a left-side part by design. It is a stock LighTech item, not a special order. Many circuits require a lever guard before they will let the 1390 SUPER DUKE R on track.

Key Features

LighTech part number ISS116LC

A stock LighTech item, not a special order

Mounts on the left-hand side of the 1390 SUPER DUKE R

Sold individually; the coloured end piece is also available on its own

Carbon keeps the added mass at the bar end low

Covers the 1390 SUPER DUKE R across 3 model years (2024 to 2026)

Construction and Material

Carbon carries the load here; aluminium only forms the coloured tip. Weight is 119 g, which on the 1390 SUPER DUKE R is not a consideration. It is made in Italy, which LighTech marks on the part where there is room.

Carbon at the Bar End

A lever guard works by being the furthest-forward part at the bar end. LighTech builds the body of the ISS116LC from carbon and the end piece from anodised aluminium. The matching adapter is preselected in the “Adapter” option, so it ships with the guard.

What It Fits

LighTech catalogues the ISS116LC for the 1390 SUPER DUKE R (2024 to 2026). The guard is common to many machines; the adapter is what makes it fit the 1390 SUPER DUKE R. If in doubt, compare with the part on the bike rather than with the catalogue line.

The Second Part Number

LighTech makes the ISS116LC as the guard only; here the adapter is part of the same order. Handlebar bores differ between models, so the adapter is chosen by the bar of the 1390 SUPER DUKE R. The “Adapter” option names the part for the 1390 SUPER DUKE R: KPL329, preselected — one guard, one adapter. Switch to “Without Adapter” only if you already own KPL329.

Fitting

Installation needs no special tools. Clean the threads before assembly and do not force anything. Inspect it at every service of the 1390 SUPER DUKE R.

What Is in the Box

LighTech ships the ISS116LC as a single item. A matched pair on the 1390 SUPER DUKE R means two guards and two adapters.

Approval and Road Use

The ISS116LC carries no approval mark. What is visibly added to the 1390 SUPER DUKE R is what an inspector notices. Ask before you fit it to a registered 1390 SUPER DUKE R.

At a Glance

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS116LC

Type: Carbon clutch lever guard

Body: Carbon

End piece: Anodised aluminium, laser-engraved

Guard length: 132 mm, bar end to centre of tip

Mounting side: Left

Adapter: KPL329 — preselected option

Colours: 8 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Origin: Made in Italy

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ISS116NER_c8805f_6f6b37ae-dda0-445d-8f08-38493088caf4.png?v=1791892124
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-carbon-clutch-lever-guard-132-mm-ktm-1390-super-duke-r-2024-2026-iss116lc
