As a carbon guard LighTech lists the ISS116LC, available in 8 end-piece colours. On the ZX-25R it goes on the clutch side, which is the left. It protects the control that decides whether the ZX-25R stays upright. LighTech lists it for the ZX-25R.

Key Features

No approval paperwork is supplied — see the note below

Adapter required — the matching one is preselected in the “Adapter” option

LighTech part number ISS116LC

Mounts on the left-hand side of the ZX-25R

8 anodised colours: Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Covers the ZX-25R across 4 model years (2023 to 2026)

How It Is Made

Carbon carries the load here; aluminium only forms the coloured tip. LighTech gives the weight as 119 g. It is made in Italy, which LighTech marks on the part where there is room.

Fitment

Fitment is the ZX-25R across 2023 to 2026. It goes on the left-hand side only. The data comes from LighTech; the final check happens on the motorcycle.

Why a Lever Guard

Weight at the bar end changes how a ZX-25R turns in. LighTech builds the body of the ISS116LC from carbon and the end piece from anodised aluminium. Sold individually, so a pair on the ZX-25R is two part numbers.

What Is in the Box

The ISS116LC is supplied individually. A matched pair on the ZX-25R means two guards and two adapters.

The Adapter Option

There is a second part number involved in fitting the ISS116LC. The adapter is not an accessory here — nothing holds the guard without it. Leave the “Adapter” option on “With Adapter KPL304” and the installation on the ZX-25R is complete. Switch to “Without Adapter” only if you already own KPL304.

In the Workshop

The ISS116LC is fitted with the ZX-25R on its stand. Check the fit by hand before you rely on it. Check it again after the first ride.

Road Approval

LighTech does not certify the ISS116LC for road use, and neither do we. An added part on the ZX-25R can come up at a technical inspection. One call to your inspection body settles it for the ZX-25R.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS116LC

Type: Carbon clutch lever guard

Body: Carbon

End piece: Anodised aluminium, laser-engraved

Guard length: 132 mm, bar end to centre of tip

Mounting side: Left

Adapter: KPL304 — preselected option

Colours: 8 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Origin: Made in Italy

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ISS116NER_c8805f_24f43e27-dac4-4d44-bba6-bd173c1afa54.png?v=1791892083
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-carbon-clutch-lever-guard-132-mm-kawasaki-zx-25r-2023-2026-iss116lc
