Enter the ISS116LC: 119 g of carbon and aluminium at the left bar end of the SHIVER 750. It is fitted to the left bar end of the SHIVER 750, not the right. Made in Italy, like the rest of the range. LighTech lists it for the SHIVER 750.

Key Features

Listed for the Aprilia SHIVER 750

Adapter required — the matching one is preselected in the “Adapter” option

Laser-engraved LighTech mark on the end piece

LighTech part number ISS116LC

Mounts on the left-hand side of the SHIVER 750

A stock LighTech item, not a special order

Carbon at the Bar End

A lever guard works by being the furthest-forward part at the bar end. LighTech builds the body of the ISS116LC from carbon and the end piece from anodised aluminium. Many circuits will not release a SHIVER 750 onto the track without one.

The Second Part Number

There is a second part number involved in fitting the ISS116LC. The mount screws into the bar from the inside, which is why the bore decides it. For the SHIVER 750 that is KPL313, and it is already selected under the option “Adapter”, so guard and adapter arrive together. Already running KPL313? Then “Without Adapter” is the value for you.

Material and Finish

The body is carbon, chosen for stiffness at the lowest possible mass. Weight is 119 g, which on the SHIVER 750 is not a consideration. Production is in Italy, as it is for the whole LighTech range.

Supplied As

What arrives is the part itself. The adapter is chosen under “Adapter” and travels with the guard.

Fitment and Compatibility

LighTech catalogues the ISS116LC for the SHIVER 750 (2007 to 2017). It goes on the left-hand side only. The data comes from LighTech; the final check happens on the motorcycle.

Mounting It

Installation needs no special tools. Work to the torque figures of the SHIVER 750; overtightening is the usual mistake. The standard condition of the SHIVER 750 can be restored at any time.

What the Paperwork Says

No German registration document accompanies the ISS116LC. What is visibly added to the SHIVER 750 is what an inspector notices. One call to your inspection body settles it for the SHIVER 750.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS116LC

Type: Carbon clutch lever guard

Body: Carbon

End piece: Anodised aluminium, laser-engraved

Guard length: 132 mm, bar end to centre of tip

Mounting side: Left

Adapter: KPL313 — preselected option

Colours: 8 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Origin: Made in Italy

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ISS116NER_c8805f_3d7de289-f674-45e0-b121-9b8e40f49f54.png?v=1791891902
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-carbon-clutch-lever-guard-132-mm-aprilia-shiver-750-2007-2017-iss116lc
