LighTech's ISS115RC brings real carbon to the brake side of the ZX-10 R at 113 g. The guard body is fixed; only the bushes vary, in 8 colours. It costs a fraction of the lever it protects on the ZX-10 R.

Key Features

Original ZX-10 R controls stay exactly where they are

Supplied with the instructions the ZX-10 R fitting needs

No drilling and no cutting on the ZX-10 R

LighTech's own geometry, not a generic bar-end part

The lightest guard LighTech lists for the ZX-10 R

The weave is structural, not a printed film over plastic

Fitment

This listing covers the Kawasaki ZX-10 R, 2011 to 2026. Bar-end weights have to come off the ZX-10 R before the guard goes on.

Fitting

No special tool is involved in fitting the ISS115RC to the ZX-10 R. Re-check the fasteners after the first ride, as with anything at the bar end. Mirrors and bar-end weights have to come off the ZX-10 R first.

Why Carbon Here

Every gram at the end of the bar on a ZX-10 R works against the steering. The ISS115RC holds the lever of the ZX-10 R clear at 132 mm guard length without adding mass. At 113 g it is the lightest guard LighTech offers for the ZX-10 R.

Choosing the Adapter

At LighTech the guard and the adapter are two part numbers; on this page they are one choice. The adapter is what carries the guard, so it is chosen by the bar, not by the guard. The adapter the ZX-10 R takes is KPL304; it is preselected in the “Adapter” option, which makes the order a complete installation. Only where KPL304 is already fitted does “Without Adapter” make sense on the ZX-10 R.

What You Get

One guard per box — the ZX-10 R takes two for a matched pair. Bushes are part of the guard; the adapter for the ZX-10 R is the value chosen under “Adapter”. If the ZX-10 R needs a replacement later, nothing else has to come off.

Approval and Track Rules

On track the brake lever guard is usually not optional. There is no type-approval document for the ISS115RC, and we do not present one. Check your own series regulations for the exact requirement; they differ.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS115RC

Type: Carbon brake lever guard

Material: Carbon

Guard length: 132 mm

Bush colours: 8 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Weight: 113 g

Supplied as: Single item

Fitment: Kawasaki ZX-10 R (2011 to 2026)

Road approval: None supplied

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ISS115NER_6ffb712c-dfb3-466b-bab1-7cd826b9d3ac.png?v=1791202836
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-carbon-brake-lever-guard-132-mm-kawasaki-zx-10-r-2011-2026-iss115rc
