Fitting a LighTech 400-series bar to the Panigale 959 requires the CAP001 as part of the build. It is a stock LighTech item, not a special order. It is the least expensive item in the range.

Key Features

No modification to the Panigale 959

No approval paperwork is supplied — see the note below

Closes the open end of handlebar balancers and swing arm spools

Required to assemble a LighTech 400-series bar on the Panigale 959

Anodised aluminium

Listed for the Ducati Panigale 959

Application

This listing covers the Ducati Panigale 959, 2016 to 2020. They close LighTech balancers and LighTech spools; other makes are not covered. The part number CAP001 is the binding reference, not the model name.

Construction and Material

Machined from aluminium, anodised in the colour you choose. LighTech gives the weight as 26 g. LighTech manufactures it in Italy.

Small Parts, Visible Result

The visible end of a fitting is the part people look at. LighTech marks the CAP001 with its logo and with Made in Italy. Available in 4 anodised colours.

Installation

Fitting the CAP001 takes seconds per side. Check the fit by hand before you rely on it. The standard condition of the Panigale 959 can be restored at any time.

Supplied As

The CAP001 is supplied as a pair. No balancers and no spools are included.

Sold in Pairs

LighTech supplies the CAP001 as a pair, 26 g, not singly. That is enough for both ends of one fitting on the Panigale 959. LighTech treats them as part of the 400-series build on the Panigale 959, not as decoration.

Approval and Road Use

We list the CAP001 without an approval claim because LighTech issues none. An added part on the Panigale 959 can come up at a technical inspection. For a road-registered Panigale 959, clarify it with your inspection body before fitting.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: CAP001

Type: Cap set for balancers and spools

Material: Anodised aluminium

Marking: LighTech logo, Made in Italy

Supplied as: Pair

Use: Handlebar balancers and swing arm spools

Colours: 4 — Black, Gold, Orange, Silver

Origin: Made in Italy

Weight: 26 g

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_CAP001NER_b96577_d4a66e6b-4620-4468-8562-fec263f0dc8a.png?v=1791892767
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-caps-for-balancers-and-spools-ducati-panigale-959-2016-2020-cap001
