That is the ECPTR007: a machined aluminium pick-up cover with a black finish and a laser-etched logo. LighTech lists it for the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RS. It is a stock LighTech item, not a special order.

Key Features

No approval paperwork is supplied — see the note below

Machined from solid aluminium

Keeps the original engine casing intact in a slide on the right side

Compact design that follows the engine line

Black finish with a laser-etched LighTech logo

LighTech states it is suitable for road use

What a Slide Costs

A protector is cheaper than an engine-out job on a SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RS. LighTech machines the ECPTR007 from solid aluminium rather than casting it. The original case stays where it is; this goes over it.

What It Fits

The listing is the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RS, model years 2021 to 2026. No drilling and no cutting on the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RS. Ask before ordering if anything is unclear — it is quickly answered.

Materials and Build

Machined from solid aluminium rather than cast. Weight is 200 g, which on the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RS is not a consideration. It is made in Italy, which LighTech marks on the part where there is room.

Fitting

Fitting the ECPTR007 does not open the engine of the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RS. Tighten evenly rather than one screw at a time. Inspect it at every service of the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RS.

What Is Included

Everything required to fit the ECPTR007 is in the box. The standard condition of the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RS can be restored. Note the reference — a repeat order for the same SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RS is then unambiguous.

Supplied As

What arrives is the part itself. No separate hardware order is required.

What the Paperwork Says

Nothing in the ECPTR007 box constitutes a type approval. LighTech's own phrasing for the ECPTR007 is "suitable for road use", which carries no legal weight here. One call to your inspection body settles it for the SPEED TRIPLE 1200 RS.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ECPTR007

Type: Billet aluminium pick-up cover

Material: Aluminium, machined from solid

Finish: Black, laser-etched logo

Protects: pick-up cover, right side

Installation: Plug and play, screw kit included

Finish: Black

Origin: Made in Italy

Weight: 200 g

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ECPTR007NER_85ddc1_e5db277f-2c8f-4c7a-aa55-fac65df1ba36.png?v=1791891567
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-billet-pick-up-cover-right-side-triumph-speed-triple-1200-rs-2021-2026-ecptr007
