The LighTech ECPYA004 is the electrical cover for the left side, machined from solid aluminium, 220 g. The listing covers the R1M across 12 model years (2015 to 2026). It is a stock LighTech item, not a special order.

Key Features

100 % Made in Italy

Listed for the Yamaha R1M

No approval paperwork is supplied — see the note below

LighTech states it is suitable for road use

Covers the R1M across 12 model years (2015 to 2026)

Keeps the original engine casing intact in a slide on the left side

Construction and Material

Billet aluminium is the whole argument: it abrades instead of cracking. LighTech gives the weight as 220 g. It is made in Italy, which LighTech marks on the part where there is room.

What a Slide Costs

Abrasion, not impact, is what opens a case. At 220 g the ECPYA004 sits over the electrical cover without crowding the engine of the R1M. A stock LighTech item.

Application

LighTech lists the ECPYA004 for the Yamaha R1M. Check that the R1M is in standard condition — other add-ons can occupy the same space. Have ECPYA004 and the model year to hand and the question is settled in one message.

Before You Order

LighTech includes the fixing hardware with the ECPYA004. Installation is reversible at any time. Keep the part number ECPYA004 for a later reorder.

In the Workshop

The ECPYA004 bolts on with the supplied screws — a hex key is enough. Tighten evenly rather than one screw at a time. Removal takes as long as fitting did.

Scope of Delivery

What arrives is the part itself. The screw kit is included.

Road Approval

There is no ABE and no Teilegutachten for the ECPYA004. LighTech does call this cover suitable for road use — the manufacturer's wording, not an approval. Ask before you fit it to a registered R1M.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ECPYA004

Type: Billet aluminium electrical cover

Material: Aluminium, machined from solid

Finish: Black, laser-etched logo

Protects: electrical cover, left side

Installation: Plug and play, screw kit included

Finish: Black

Origin: Made in Italy

Weight: 220 g

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ECPYA004NER_29f9bd_4d10e1ca-c392-4f04-8905-7d4404bec4e4.png?v=1791892321
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-billet-electrical-cover-left-side-yamaha-r1m-2015-2026-ecpya004
