The LighTech KTM406 is the 400 series bar end weight, sold as a pair, 285 g. Metal and aluminium instead of the plastic-capped original. LighTech designs the series to reduce handlebar vibration.

Key Features

Metal and aluminium construction

A stock LighTech item

Listed for the Honda CB 650 R

Body black; CAP001 is available in orange, cobalt, black, gold, red, silver and green

LighTech part number KTM406

The coloured part CAP001 is NOT included and is ordered separately, sold in pairs

Vibration and Looks

Factory parts are specified for an average rider nobody has ever met. What the KTM406 brings to a CB 650 R is the 400 series body; CAP001 adds the colour and is ordered on its own. What it does not do is change anything you did not ask it to.

Fitment and Compatibility

LighTech names a Honda CB 650 R, 2019 to 2026, as the application. The bars were unchanged across 8 model years, so one part number covers them all. We would rather clarify the fitment in advance than afterwards.

Before You Order

Where the KTM406 ends. It is supplied as described above and nothing further. Read this before ordering: the KTM406 is the 400 series body only. The coloured part CAP001 is a separate order and comes in pairs. Italian manufacture, like everything else LighTech makes.

Mounting It

Fitting the KTM406 needs no fluids drained and no cables disturbed. Check the clearance over the full steering lock once it is fitted. We can do the fitting and the check ride in one appointment.

Scope of Delivery

Supplied is one pair of 400 series bar end weight bodies, KTM406 — without the coloured part CAP001. The finish is Black. Where LighTech prints an instruction sheet, it travels with the part.

Approval

On approval documents. LighTech supplies the KTM406 without a type-approval certificate. Ask before you fit it to a registered CB 650 R if you are unsure.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: KTM406

Type: Bar end weight body, 400 series

Coloured part: CAP001, ordered separately, sold in pairs

Vibration: Designed to reduce handlebar vibration

Supplied as: Pair

Origin: Made in Italy

Weight: 285 g

Fitment: Honda CB 650 R (2019 to 2026)

Road approval: No ABE or parts certificate supplied

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_KTM400_CAP001_9de427_3c3d3b7e-2855-43da-944e-60fe77666759.png?v=1792487078
