That is the ISS114LA: machined aluminium across 148 mm guard length on the left lever of the GSX-R1000R. 8 bush finishes exist for the ISS114LA, all at the same price. It costs a fraction of the lever it protects on the GSX-R1000R.

Key Features

Bar-end weights come off the GSX-R1000R; nothing else does

Adapter required for the GSX-R1000R — ordered with it via the “Adapter” option

It costs less than the lever it protects on a GSX-R1000R

Sold individually — a GSX-R1000R needs one per side for full cover

148 mm guard length, measured from the bar end to the centre of the guard tip

8 bush colours, all at the same price

The Case for a Machined Guard

There is a reason aluminium guards outlived most of their plastic contemporaries. The ISS114LA is machined from solid aluminium and anodised at the end that touches down. The anodised end is a wear part and is renewed on its own.

Compatibility and Installation

LighTech's fitment for the ISS114LA is the GSX-R1000R (2017 to 2026). Check clearance to the GSX-R1000R fairing and mirror once fitted.

In the Workshop

Fitting the ISS114LA to a GSX-R1000R is a bar-end job with hand tools. Set the guard angle on the GSX-R1000R so it clears the fairing at full lock, then tighten. Instructions are in the box; the GSX-R1000R needs no modification.

What You Get

The ISS114LA comes as a single side; order twice for the whole handlebar. With the preselected “Adapter” value, the adapter for the GSX-R1000R arrives in the same delivery as the ISS114LA. If the GSX-R1000R needs a replacement later, nothing else has to come off.

Before You Order

The ISS114LA needs a mount that suits the bar of the GSX-R1000R. Which adapter the GSX-R1000R needs depends on the internal diameter of its bar tube. The matching adapter is KPL327; it is the preselected value of the “Adapter” option, because the guard alone is not a complete installation. If KPL327 is already in the bar of your GSX-R1000R, “Without Adapter” saves buying it twice.

Road Approval and Regulations

No series we know of requires a clutch lever guard on a GSX-R1000R. The ISS114LA is sold without approval paperwork. On a road-registered GSX-R1000R the fitted position is a matter for your inspection body.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS114LA

Type: Aluminium clutch lever guard

Material: Machined aluminium

Guard end: Anodised

Guard length: 148 mm

Bush colours: 8 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Weight: 160 g

Supplied as: Single item

Fitment: Suzuki GSX-R1000R (2017 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ISS114LANER_1260d5e2-5b2d-45d4-aa59-6517a7784fc6.png?v=1791203558
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-aluminium-clutch-lever-guard-148-mm-suzuki-gsx-r1000r-2017-2026-iss114la
