LighTech's ISS114LA covers the clutch side of the 890 DUKE R in machined aluminium at 148 mm guard length. 8 colour options are available, none of which affect fitment on the 890 DUKE R. Sold individually, so a 890 DUKE R needs one per side if you want both covered.

Key Features

160 g on the bar of the 890 DUKE R

148 mm guard length — check it against your 890 DUKE R before ordering

Machined aluminium body with an anodised guard end

Covers the 890 DUKE R across 7 model years (2020 to 2026)

Sold individually — an 890 DUKE R needs one per side for full cover

No drilling and no cutting on the 890 DUKE R

The Case for a Machined Guard

The clutch lever of an 890 DUKE R is unprotected from the factory. Machining lets LighTech hold the 148 mm guard length dimension that the 890 DUKE R bar needs. At 160 g it is heavier than the polymer version and stiffer for it.

Scope of Delivery

One guard per box — the 890 DUKE R takes two for a matched pair. The bar adapter is packed with the ISS114LA whenever a “With Adapter” value is ordered. The ISS114LA number is the only thing to quote for a repeat order.

Fitment

This listing covers the KTM 890 DUKE R, 2020 to 2026. Fitting needs the correct adapter for the 890 DUKE R — see the note below.

In the Workshop

No special tool is involved in fitting the ISS114LA to the 890 DUKE R. Set the guard angle on the 890 DUKE R so it clears the fairing at full lock, then tighten. Instructions are in the box; the 890 DUKE R needs no modification.

Choosing the Adapter

The ISS114LA needs an adapter before it can go on the 890 DUKE R, and this page takes care of it. The mount screws into the 890 DUKE R bar from the inside, which is why the bore matters. The “Adapter” option names the part for the 890 DUKE R: KPL329, preselected — one guard, one adapter per side. Riders who keep their KPL329 and only renew the ISS114LA on the 890 DUKE R choose “Without Adapter”.

Approval and Track Rules

Clutch lever guards are rarely mandated, which does not make them pointless. No approval document comes with the ISS114LA. Track and paddock use raise no question.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS114LA

Type: Aluminium clutch lever guard

Material: Machined aluminium

Guard end: Anodised

Guard length: 148 mm

Bush colours: 8 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Weight: 160 g

Supplied as: Single item

Fitment: KTM 890 DUKE R (2020 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ISS114LANER_1f832c74-a591-48d2-9dff-0565a711feb3.png?v=1791203490
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-aluminium-clutch-lever-guard-148-mm-ktm-890-duke-r-2020-2026-iss114la
