The ISS114LA is the aluminium clutch guard for the 1290 SUPERDUKE R: anodised at the tip, 160 g fitted. There are 8 bush colours to pick from, listed under the technical data. It costs a fraction of the lever it protects on the 1290 SUPERDUKE R.

Key Features

Cut from solid rather than cast, which keeps the mating faces true

The ISS114LA is a stock item, not a special order

LighTech part number ISS114LA, catalogued for the KTM 1290 SUPERDUKE R

Colour changes the look of the 1290 SUPERDUKE R, not the fit

Sold individually — a 1290 SUPERDUKE R needs one per side for full cover

Machined aluminium body with an anodised guard end

The Case for a Machined Guard

Stiffness matters at the bar end of a 1290 SUPERDUKE R more than absolute strength does. LighTech cuts the ISS114LA rather than casting it, which keeps the mating faces true. On the 1290 SUPERDUKE R the extra grams buy a guard that does not give.

Fitting It to the Bike

The ISS114LA mounts at the bar end of the 1290 SUPERDUKE R; the controls stay where they are. Set the guard angle on the 1290 SUPERDUKE R so it clears the fairing at full lock, then tighten. Mirrors and bar-end weights have to come off the 1290 SUPERDUKE R first.

Fitment and Compatibility

LighTech's fitment for the ISS114LA is the 1290 SUPERDUKE R (2020 to 2026). No part of the 1290 SUPERDUKE R is drilled or cut; the guard mounts at the bar end.

The Adapter Option

The ISS114LA needs one more item before it can go on the 1290 SUPERDUKE R. Every motorcycle takes the adapter matched to its own handlebar bore, and the 1290 SUPERDUKE R is no exception. The adapter the 1290 SUPERDUKE R takes is KPL329; it is preselected in the “Adapter” option, which makes the order a complete installation. Already running KPL329? Then “Without Adapter” is the value for you.

What Is in the Box

The package holds the guard, its bushes and the fasteners. The bar adapter is packed with the ISS114LA whenever a “With Adapter” value is ordered. Worn parts are renewed individually, which is the point of the system.

Road Approval and Regulations

Clutch lever guards are rarely mandated, which does not make them pointless. No approval document comes with the ISS114LA. On a road-registered 1290 SUPERDUKE R the fitted position is a matter for your inspection body.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS114LA

Type: Aluminium clutch lever guard

Material: Machined aluminium

Guard end: Anodised

Guard length: 148 mm

Bush colours: 8 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Weight: 160 g

Supplied as: Single item

Fitment: KTM 1290 SUPERDUKE R (2020 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ISS114LANER_578928a9-4420-473b-8cfa-b7bb24c5c401.png?v=1791203505
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-aluminium-clutch-lever-guard-148-mm-ktm-1290-superduke-r-2020-2026-iss114la
