The ISS114LA puts 148 mm guard length of aluminium between the ZX-4 RR clutch lever and whatever reaches it. There are 8 bush colours to pick from, listed under the technical data. The 399 cc ZX-4 RR takes it on the standard bar with the matching adapter.

Key Features

Supplied with the instructions the ZX-4 RR fitting needs

Covers the ZX-4 RR across 3 model years (2024 to 2026)

148 mm guard length, measured from the bar end to the centre of the guard tip

Bush colour is the only choice to make on the ISS114LA

No drilling and no cutting on the ZX-4 RR

Colour changes the look of the ZX-4 RR, not the fit

Supplied As

The ISS114LA comes as a single side; order twice for the whole handlebar. The bar adapter is packed with the ISS114LA whenever a “With Adapter” value is ordered. Worn parts are renewed individually, which is the point of the system.

The Case for a Machined Guard

A machined guard on a ZX-4 RR buys stiffness a moulded part cannot. The ISS114LA is machined from solid aluminium and anodised at the end that touches down. The anodised end is a wear part and is renewed on its own.

Fitment

Fitment is the Kawasaki ZX-4 RR across 2024 to 2026. Fitting needs the correct adapter for the ZX-4 RR — see the note below.

Fitting It to the Bike

Installation on the ZX-4 RR starts with removing the bar-end weight. Check full steering lock on the ZX-4 RR before you ride — the guard must not touch the tank or screen. Mirrors and bar-end weights have to come off the ZX-4 RR first.

Before You Order

One thing to settle before ordering the ISS114LA: the adapter. Adapters are not interchangeable between models; the Kawasaki ZX-4 RR has its own. For the ZX-4 RR that is KPL304, and it is already selected under the option “Adapter”, so guard and adapter arrive together. Switch to “Without Adapter” only if you already own KPL304.

Road Approval and Regulations

Clutch lever guards are rarely mandated, which does not make them pointless. LighTech supplies no type approval with the ISS114LA, and we claim none. On a road-registered ZX-4 RR the fitted position is a matter for your inspection body.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS114LA

Type: Aluminium clutch lever guard

Material: Machined aluminium

Guard end: Anodised

Guard length: 148 mm

Bush colours: 8 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Weight: 160 g

Supplied as: Single item

Fitment: Kawasaki ZX-4 RR (2024 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ISS114LANER_c88527d7-8ae8-4b7d-96d0-f4b79ab9ff65.png?v=1791203451
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-aluminium-clutch-lever-guard-148-mm-kawasaki-zx-4-rr-2024-2026-iss114la
