That is the ISS119LA: machined aluminium across 132 mm guard length on the left lever of the R3. 8 bush finishes exist for the ISS119LA, all at the same price. The 321 cc R3 takes it on the standard bar with the matching adapter.

Key Features

8 bush finishes for the R3: Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Supplied with the instructions the R3 fitting needs

Mounts at the bar end, where the R3 has the clearance for it

Cut from solid rather than cast, which keeps the mating faces true

Colour changes the look of the R3, not the fit

Covers the R3 across 12 model years (2015 to 2026)

Fitting It to the Bike

The ISS119LA mounts at the bar end of the R3; the controls stay where they are. Leave the final torque until the angle is right; the guard should sit parallel to the lever. Mirrors and bar-end weights have to come off the R3 first.

Why Aluminium

A machined guard on an R3 buys stiffness a moulded part cannot. Machining lets LighTech hold the 132 mm guard length dimension that the R3 bar needs. At 160 g it is heavier than the polymer version and stiffer for it.

Compatibility and Installation

LighTech's fitment for the ISS119LA is the R3 (2015 to 2026). The guard mounts to the bar end of the R3 via the matching LighTech adapter.

What You Get

LighTech sells the ISS119LA individually, not as a left-and-right set. Bushes are part of the guard; the adapter for the R3 is the value chosen under “Adapter”. The ISS119LA number is the only thing to quote for a repeat order.

Before You Order

LighTech makes the guard and its mount as two parts; here they come in one order. Every motorcycle takes the adapter matched to its own handlebar bore, and the R3 is no exception. For the R3 that is KPL311, and it is already selected under the option “Adapter”, so guard and adapter arrive together. Already running KPL311? Then “Without Adapter” is the value for you.

Road Approval and Regulations

Clutch lever guards are rarely mandated, which does not make them pointless. No approval document comes with the ISS119LA. For road use, clarify it before fitting if the R3 is registered.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS119LA

Type: Aluminium clutch lever guard

Material: Machined aluminium

Guard end: Anodised

Guard length: 132 mm

Bush colours: 8 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Weight: 160 g

Supplied as: Single item

Fitment: Yamaha R3 (2015 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ISS114LANER_ca4779eb-79b5-4d42-949c-82e14d411c1d.png?v=1791202378
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-aluminium-clutch-lever-guard-132-mm-yamaha-r3-2015-2026-iss119la
