The LighTech ISS119LA is a machined aluminium clutch lever guard with an anodised end, 132 mm guard length. There are 8 bush colours to pick from, listed under the technical data. LighTech catalogues it for the GSX-8R; each guard is sold as a single item.

Key Features

Machined aluminium body with an anodised guard end

Adapter required for the GSX-8R — ordered with it via the “Adapter” option

LighTech part number ISS119LA, catalogued for the Suzuki GSX-8R

Anodised rather than painted, so a scuff does not show raw metal on the GSX-8R

Mounts at the bar end, where the GSX-8R has the clearance for it

It costs less than the lever it protects on a GSX-8R

Compatibility and Installation

Fitment is the Suzuki GSX-8R across 2023 to 2026. No part of the GSX-8R is drilled or cut; the guard mounts at the bar end.

The Case for a Machined Guard

The clutch lever of a GSX-8R is unprotected from the factory. The ISS119LA spans 132 mm guard length in front of the clutch lever of the GSX-8R. At 160 g it is heavier than the polymer version and stiffer for it.

Fitting

The ISS119LA mounts at the bar end of the GSX-8R; the controls stay where they are. Re-check the fasteners after the first ride, as with anything at the bar end. On the GSX-8R nothing is drilled and nothing is cut.

What Is in the Box

The package holds the guard, its bushes and the fasteners. Bushes are part of the guard; the adapter for the GSX-8R is the value chosen under “Adapter”. LighTech keeps the ISS119LA in its spare-parts programme rather than treating it as disposable.

Choosing the Adapter

The ISS119LA needs a mount that suits the bar of the GSX-8R. Every motorcycle takes the adapter matched to its own handlebar bore, and the GSX-8R is no exception. The part you need alongside it is KPL335, and the “Adapter” option adds it to the order by default. Switch to “Without Adapter” only if you already own KPL335.

Approval and Track Rules

Regulations cover the brake side; the clutch side is the rider's decision. The ISS119LA is sold without approval paperwork. Track and paddock use raise no question.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS119LA

Type: Aluminium clutch lever guard

Material: Machined aluminium

Guard end: Anodised

Guard length: 132 mm

Bush colours: 8 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Weight: 160 g

Supplied as: Single item

Fitment: Suzuki GSX-8R (2023 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ISS114LANER_d0e154af-53ed-4866-a799-a7662e5f1619.png?v=1791202231
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-aluminium-clutch-lever-guard-132-mm-suzuki-gsx-8r-2023-2026-iss119la
