The LighTech ISS119LA is a machined aluminium clutch lever guard with an anodised end, 132 mm guard length. LighTech makes the bushes in 8 finishes for this guard. It is listed by LighTech for the 890 DUKE R and sold individually.

Key Features

The ISS119LA is a stock item, not a special order

Protects the clutch lever of the 890 DUKE R from contact and from a tip-over

Supplied with the instructions the 890 DUKE R fitting needs

It costs less than the lever it protects on an 890 DUKE R

160 g on the bar of the 890 DUKE R

LighTech's own geometry, not a generic bar-end part

Compatibility and Installation

This listing covers the KTM 890 DUKE R, 2020 to 2026. Fitting needs the correct adapter for the 890 DUKE R — see the note below.

Fitting It to the Bike

The ISS119LA goes on with the 890 DUKE R on its stand and nothing dismantled. With the adapter in place the guard bolts on and is set for angle before final tightening. Mirrors and bar-end weights have to come off the 890 DUKE R first.

The Case for a Machined Guard

The clutch lever of an 890 DUKE R is unprotected from the factory. The ISS119LA spans 132 mm guard length in front of the clutch lever of the 890 DUKE R. On the 890 DUKE R the extra grams buy a guard that does not give.

Before You Order

A LighTech lever guard does not mount without its adapter. Without the matching adapter the ISS119LA has nothing to bolt to on the 890 DUKE R. The matching adapter is KPL329; it is the preselected value of the “Adapter” option, because the guard alone is not a complete installation. Switch to “Without Adapter” only if you already own KPL329.

What Is in the Box

LighTech sells the ISS119LA individually, not as a left-and-right set. With the preselected “Adapter” value, the adapter for the 890 DUKE R arrives in the same delivery as the ISS119LA. If the 890 DUKE R needs a replacement later, nothing else has to come off.

Road Approval and Regulations

No series we know of requires a clutch lever guard on an 890 DUKE R. No approval document comes with the ISS119LA. On a road-registered 890 DUKE R the fitted position is a matter for your inspection body.

Specifications

Brand: LighTech

Part number: ISS119LA

Type: Aluminium clutch lever guard

Material: Machined aluminium

Guard end: Anodised

Guard length: 132 mm

Bush colours: 8 — Black, Blue, Gold, Green, Grey, Orange, Red, Silver

Weight: 160 g

Supplied as: Single item

Fitment: KTM 890 DUKE R (2020 to 2026)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_ISS114LANER_176eedc8-592f-4841-91c6-0d4371b6cea1.png?v=1791207990
https://inter-pace.com/products/lightech-aluminium-clutch-lever-guard-132-mm-ktm-890-duke-r-2020-2026-iss119la
